RETAIL THEFT > Two people who stole a cartful of goods, valued at more than $1,000, from Target, 1495 Old York Road, March 24, returned March 25 and attempted to take $1,166 worth of goods, but were stopped and the items were recovered, police said. Items from Gap and several other stores were found in the vehicle and returned to the stores, police said. The suspects put the items in a vehicle in the parking lot and re-entered the mall, where they were found by police and taken into custody, police said. RETAIL THEFT > Two females were observed stealing $230 worth of goods from the Gap at the Willow Grove Park Mall at 12:50 p.m. March 23, and when asked what was going on, they left, police said. A neighbor told the victim three people were near the victim’s vehicle around 5:30 a.m. THEFT > A catalytic converter was reported stolen March 24 from a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta in the 2000 block of Roy Avenue, police said. RETAIL THEFT > A 34-year-old female of Etting Street, Philadelphia, and 30-year-old female of Chew Avenue, Philadelphia, were charged March 24 with retail theft and receiving stolen property in the 2500 block of Moreland Road, police said. RETAIL THEFT > A 40-year-old male of Edgewood Street, Philadelphia, was charged April 2 with retail theft and receiving stolen property in the 2400 block of Moreland Road, police said.ĬONTEMPT > A 34-year-old male of Sherman Avenue, Huntingdon Valley, was charged March 29 with indirect criminal contempt in the 900 block of Sherman Avenue, police said. DUI > A 43-year-old man of 63rd Street, Philadelphia, was charged April 1 with driving under the influence and persons not to possess firearms, following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Old York Road, police said.
