It's so strange though - to see so many internet randoms blindly defend Denuvo at all cost. DRM is engineered to cripple and thwart and UE4 is being replaced with UE5 meaning they've taken the engine nearly as far as it can go at this point. It's almost silly to claim subscribing to facts and specifically leave out important evidence to arrive at a biased speculation such as shader compilation solely. I subscribe to the facts, not biased speculation.įacts aren't truth they're established beliefs whether real, fabricated, or imagined. Horizon Zero Dawn had the same problem until they patched it to compile shaders on the menu screen and it never had Denuvo [I'm not saying Denuvo has never caused performance issues but in this case the stutter you're seeing is caused by something else. Removing Denuvo won't remove shader compilation stutter. I'm not subscribing to inferior thought - take in a series of true past events when arriving at conclusions. Only thing is that every single game which has Denuvo stuttering issues - it all clears up tremendously once they remove Denuvo.
